Frozen Women/Flowing Thoughts: Unmasking Womanhood– A Symphony of Monologues

This Anthology is a collection of seventy-six different monologues written by seventy-six different playwrights from around the globe. It is curated by Deborah Randall, founder of Venus Theatre Company, the longest-standing regional women’s theatre in the U.S. The selections represent sometimes conflicting perspectives of what it means to be female in our culture. Playwrights like Robin Rice, Kathleen Warnock, Dorian Palumbo, Martha Patterson, Paula Kamen, Layli Rohani, and Joan Lipkin aim to amplify and celebrate the often unheard voices of women sometimes with humor, and at other times with dramatic truths of womanhood. Their diverse backgrounds bring a unique perspective to this inaugural anthology, making it a compelling read for those interested in the well-being and experiences of women.”
